The brand new facility replaced the Shrimps long time home “Old Christie Park”. White Horse Northern were contracted to construct the new 7600m2 pitch. The specification called for a crowned formation, comprehensive drainage, gravel carpet and an imported root zone layer. A new fully automatic irrigation system was also installed.
